Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy outlines how cancellation and refund requests are handled for custom software, website, app and automation projects.

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Project-based work

CodeFrog plans and delivers custom work around an agreed scope, timeline, milestones and commercial terms. The applicable proposal, estimate or service agreement will take priority where it includes specific cancellation or refund terms.

Cancellation before work begins

If a project is cancelled before work begins, any refund will be considered after deducting non-refundable costs already incurred, including discovery, planning, third-party purchases or payment processing charges.

Cancellation after work begins

If work has started, charges for completed work, approved milestones, time already spent and committed third-party costs are not refundable. Any remaining balance or refund is assessed against the agreed scope and work completed at the time of cancellation.

Change of scope or pause

A request to pause or change a project is not automatically a cancellation. We will review the impact on timeline, scope and cost and confirm the next steps in writing before continuing.

Third-party services

Fees paid to hosting providers, software vendors, APIs, app stores, messaging providers or other third parties are subject to those providers' own refund policies and may not be recoverable by CodeFrog.

How to request a cancellation

Send a written request to info@codefrog.in with your name, project reference and reason for cancellation. We will acknowledge the request and review it against the relevant proposal or agreement.
